Because the cost of PET is relatively high, many PET cabinet door panels on the market usually use melamine facing paper on one side and melamine facing paper with a thin layer of PET film on the other side. Although cost savings have been achieved, the uneven tension on both sides of the board can easily cause bulging and deformation. The best practice at present is to add PET film on both sides of the board at the same time.
